Shows hole in material so wheel makes a bump when sliding

My screen door sticks when the bottom wheel hits a hole in the track, see photos attached. There is one round hole & another spot where the track material is missing a bit.

Door slides fine until the bottom wheel hits these two spots. I imagine the track can be replaced but is there any material you could suggest to minimize the hole and get it back on track? great site thank you!

Hi Susan;

To fix this you need to fill the hole with an Epoxy adhesive and then file and grind the Epoxy back to the shape of the track.

A Dremel tool with attachable grinding wheels would be the best thing to use to quickly smooth out the filler into the shape of the track

But you could do the same thing using ordinary hand files. It would just end up taking longer

Here is a link to a popular kind of Epoxy, you can find this in Home Depot or Lowes.
