Need A Sliding Screen Door but have no tracks at all

I am looking to purchase a sliding screen door to install myself. After looking at countless videos, pics, and blogs I am unsure if my frame is screen ready. When inspecting my frame, it appears to have enough space to insert a sliding screen door. However, the top of the frame has the rail/ridge running the length of the fram. The bottom is only a valley. Can I install a screen door with this setup?

Hi Rob;

Thanks for the pictures. Looks like you have a patio door that was supplied without a screen door.

I cant see any top track, it appears to be totally flat & smooth running across the top of the door.

A simple aluminum angle track could easily be attached there with screws. The same one I use for my bottom tracks.

The bottom track appears to be a channel. It's tough to see from the picture. Some PVC doors have a screen door track insert made of aluminum or PVC plastic which fits into the channel.

These sometimes get broken, removed from the channel and thrown out. But in your case I think the door was never supplied with one.

I can get the insert but we need to check dimensions to make sure it will fit.

Once you have tracks you will be able to put one of my screen door kits in there.
