I have original wood windows in great shape however, when I keep the windows open in the summer I have a ton of insects comimng in. I find them dead on the window sill and I have flies coming in. I believe they maybe entering thru the screens slide bolt because the screens are all in good shape. How can I keep them from coming in.
Hi Mayra;
I think its likely that the insects are getting in when doors are opened and closed and then when they try to make their escape through the windows they are "dropping like flies" so to speak.
Its possible that there could be gaps around the screen. Putting self adhesive foam weatherstripping around the frame would help with that.
