Hatch screens for private #yacht

My wife Joyce and I live aboard a 40 ft sail boat. I must fabricate insect screens for four deck hatches. As I must access hatch latches from inside, the screen frame will be hinge mounted and latch secured, like a tiny screen door.

I intend to use black fiberglass screen and secure it in with a spline.

QUESTION:

Can I use a continuously curved spline slot or must I use four straight slots ? If a radius will work in corners what would minimum radius be?

Thanks for the question. Most spline can be used in curved or metered screen bar. Normally you use a continuous length going round 90 degree covers in a regular screen door.
